The Arturo Alvarez Aros Pendant is a celestial body of graceful light. The seemingly infinite expanse of layered hoops cast rings of light around the structure through the open spaces while also funneling light downward. The inventive use of polypropylene strips successfully amasses a large volume that is both light and flexible. The controlled chaos is achieved by hand weaving the strips through the cylindrical grid within, expressing a timeless harmony.
